The Kentucky Common Ale is one of a few beer styles considered indigenous to the US. Also known as a Dark Cream Beer or Common Beer, this style was brewed in Louisville from the Civil War until Prohibition. Then it was all but forgotten. Low ABV, malt-forward, smooth, and easy-drinking. 3.4% ABV
